Neurodivergent Arts CIC is a neurodivergent-led creative health organisation in its first year. We would love to hear from you if you’d like to be part of a small Stakeholder Board helping us lay strong, sustainable foundations.
We aim for at least 75% of our Stakeholder Board to be neurodivergent or have close lived experience of neurodivergence (for example, as a parent/carer or family member). If you’re an ally who believes in neurodivergent-led change and have these skills, we’d be very happy to hear from you.
This voluntary Funding role will suit someone who enjoys telling clear, outcome-focused stories and managing a small pipeline of opportunities. You’ll help us grow our income in a steady, sustainable way.
You will:
- Maintain a live funding pipeline (which funders, what for, deadline, status)
- Co-create and refine core bid paragraphs (need, our model, outcomes, track record)
- Work with our Evaluation and Finance roles to build clear, evidence-based cases for support
- Help us stay on top of reporting deadlines and light-touch impact updates
We’re looking for around 8+ years’ experience in fundraising, bid writing or business development (ideally in arts, heritage, community or health), or equivalent experience.
Time: 7–14 hours per month, including around 4 short meetings a year. This is a voluntary, advisory/stewardship role (not a statutory directorship), with flexible, access-aware ways to contribute.
Skills
- Track record of securing grants or contracts, ideally in arts, heritage, community or health sectors
- Strong bid-writing skills: outcome-focused, clear and persuasive
- Ability to assess funder fit and prioritise the most relevant opportunities
- Organised in managing a funding pipeline (deadlines, status, next actions, reporting dates)
- Comfortable working with impact data and stories to strengthen bids
- Able to collaborate with Finance on budgets and with Evaluation on evidence of outcomes
- Good written communication and ability to adapt tone for different funders
