Are you willing and able to give up some time helping Young Carers have a break from their caring responsibilities?
Because of the area we cover, we often need people who can give Young Carers a lift to activities. This would mean using your own vehicle - although we are also interested in people who can drive minibuses, or who are willing to have MIDAS training to do so. You would be given expenses at our standard mileage rate so you weren't out of pocket.
You can drop and go - although you would be welcome to stay at an activity as well if you wanted.
This is a flexible and sometimes ad-hoc opportunity as our activities range from youth club sessions after school, to holiday activities and some weekends.
If you're interested in finding out more, please register your interest.
We also need activity and support volunteers. If you feel one of those roles may be more suited to you, please check our other opportunities.
Please be aware though that because of the nature of our work, all our staff and volunteers have to have an enhanced DBS check. We will arrange this for you if necessary.
