Fundraiser Sub-Committee

We are looking for volunteers to join our Fundraising Committee. This is a dynamic role that can be flexible to differing skill sets. The role involves supporting with things such as funding applications, researching funding opportunities or running fundraising events. 

We are a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO) set up to support young carers aged 8 to 17 who live in the Winchester District.

Our Vision is that young carers are children first and should be free to develop emotionally and physically and to take full advantage of opportunities for educational achievement and life success.

Our mission is to improve the lives of children and young people with caring responsibilities by providing safe, quality support to individuals and offering an inclusive, wide ranging, and holistic approach which consider the needs of the whole family.

Be part of our fundraising team:

• Attending Fundraising Team meetings 
• Planning, organising and delivering fundraising events
• Promote the work of the charity in the local community 
• Communicate with local businesses to promote and coordinate joint working

This role can be a mixture of remote and in-person. All meetings can be attended remotely and individual tasks can be completed from home. We have offices in Winnall, Winchester which can also be used.

Team meetings are 1.5 hours every 6 weeks, usually during the evening Commitment in between meetings is flexible depending on how much time you can give and what events are planned.
