Young Carers Support Volunteer

Are you willing and able to give up some time helping Young Carers have a break from their caring responsibilities?

We need people who can help us plan and coordinate activities, contact families and other volunteers when needed and keep on top of paperwork and admin.

If you have any marketing and/or fundraising skills, even better! We are always grateful for new ideas and an extra pair of hands to help raise our profile.

This is a flexible and sometimes ad-hoc opportunity supporting our team and the service as and when needed.

Please be aware though that because of the nature of our work, all our staff and volunteers have to have an enhanced DBS check. We will arrange this for you if necessary.

Skills

• As this is a supporting role, admin and IT skills and experience are desired.
• Confidence with databases and making phone calls would also be useful.
