Veterans Dementia Support UK is a community-based Charity providing support to Armed Forces, Merchant Navy and Emergency Services members both past and present living with  Dementia, Alzheimer’s and non-diagnosed memory loss, and for their families and friends who journey with them

We provide a wide range of in-person and online support services across Hampshire and Beyond including:

• Thingamajigs Memory Cafes
• Dementia Support Groups
• Carer Support Groups
• Dementia for the Arts
• Sporting Veterans
• Reunions
• Dementia Friendly Remembrance
• Online Support Groups
• Dementia Care Advice Service
• Care Home Support Service
• NHS collaboration

We are seeking more trustees to support the management of the services and future development from our Eastleigh base and looking for people from all walks of life.

We are primarily looking for Trustees for the following roles:

• Fundraising - local events and grants etc
• Group Support - overseeing our groups in the community and developing them
• Clinical Lead - with experience in Dementia in the community and matching needs against service provision
• Outreach - taking the message out at community events 
• Veterans Events - perfect for Armed Forces Veterans to help with special events 
• Administration - help and develop more protocols for our core services
• Dementia Support Lead - working to enhance our services and support

The Trustee Meetings are held every two months for 90 minutes maximum ether in person or online
