We are launching a new Memory Café in Eastleigh Town Centre to support anyone living with Dementia and their carers.
This unique group will be meeting on Saturday mornings and we will welcome those living with dementia and their carers for coffee and conversation followed by reminiscing sessions led by our team leader.
It is very rare for a group to take place on Saturdays hence why we seek volunteers who can help on Saturday mornings on a regular basis and who can work as part of a team.
Skills
We are seeking Volunteers who are interested in chatting to people living with dementia and their carers
The volunteers need to have a:
- sense of humour;
- great communication skills;
- enjoy the company of others;
- willing to learn new skills;
- and enjoy being part of group sessions and social events.
