Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health is a growing Hampshire charity dedicated to improving mental health through walking, conversation and community. We're looking for a qualified or experienced accountant to join our Board of Trustees and help ensure the charity continues to grow with strong financial governance.
Working alongside our Trustee Treasurer and wider board, you'll provide financial insight, review management accounts, and help ensure we remain financially sustainable and compliant.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the board with financial oversight
Reviewing management accounts, budgets and financial reports
Helping develop sound financial systems and controls
Advising on financial planning and sustainability
Working alongside the Trustee Treasurer to support good governance
Helping trustees understand the charity's financial position
Skills
We're looking for someone who has:
- An accounting qualification or relevant financial experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Integrity, sound judgement and attention to detail
- An interest in supporting a growing charity
- A passion for improving mental health and strengthening communities
