Our Volunteer would:
- assist with various therapeutic activities i.e. word games, craft, exercise to music and the leading of small groups with board games, crosswords etc.
- provide a listening ear and chat with clients especially those who are new to the centre.
- help with refreshments.
Training and support sessions will be organised from time to time as well as staff meetings.
Our Volunteers are a valuable asset to our daily running of the centre, helping in every way to make an enjoyable day for our elderly guests also giving important respite for their carers.
