Mountbatten Neighbours support older people across Southampton and large parts of Hampshire who are living with chronic life-limiting illnesses, and with frailty, and those that are feeling isolated from their local community and are under the care of Mountbatten Hampshrie Hospice.
Neighbours provide emotional and social support and develop natural, mutual friendships. They are valued by those they visit.
A Mountbatten Neighbour will usually visit or meet with someone for at least an hour a week, but it can be more if you choose.
