Event Fundraising Volunteers (ad-hoc)

Mountbatten’s fundraising team is vital in helping to raise the £11m we need every year, to ensure our services remain free to people within Southampton and large parts of Hampshire who face death, dying and bereavement. 

You will be involved in: 

• Marshalling a walk/run 
• Manning a stand selling raffle tickets/merchandise 
• Decorating or setting up an event 
• Collecting donations – including our Yellow Boxes within retail shops 
• Thanking people for supporting Mountbatten

Skills

You will: 

• Use and develop skills 
• Support the team to raise vital funds 
• Be supporting your community 
• Meet new people 
• You would need to: 
• Be friendly, positive and caring 
• Be physically fit and willing to work outdoors whatever the weather! 
• Enjoy meeting and talking to people 
• Follow our policies and procedures 
• Represent Mountbatten
