Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters.
As a Charity Shop Volunteer in our Sue Ryder charity shop, you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
We are a newly opened shop so we are looking to find friendly people in a variety of roles in the shop to help build on our current team. There are plenty of opportunities to make the shop and your role your own.
Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18.
You will help us to:
- Receive donations from our supporters
- Help to sort, label and price our items before sale
- Welcome, Greet and help our customers
- Serve customers on the till (training provided)
- Create wonderful shop displays, re-stock our items on the shop floor
- Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
As a Charity Shop Volunteer you will:

Skills
You don’t need any experience to join us as a volunteer, you just need to be willing and helpful with a flexible and enthusiastic approach. Full training is provided and we can be flexible around your availability.
