Hampshire Market Garden is a not-for-profit social enterprise that is working to show the world that healthy soil can protect our future. From food security to climate resilience, we will demonstrate that caring for what lies beneath our feet is the key to a sustainable future.
We grow organic veg on a beautiful two acre site in the South Downs National Park with a focus on soil health, educating communities on how important it is, and collaborating with farmers, organisations, and policymakers to drive change and promote sustainable land stewardship.
We are offering some exciting new volunteering opportunities to people who want to come and be part of the new food revolution!
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise requiring grants and funding to continue working towards our mission. We are looking for someone experienced, to help us with this strategy and applications.
Required Experience:
- Experience in social enterprises or obtaining funding for not-for-profit organisations.
Minimum Commitment:
- 2-3 hours per week
Tools Used:
- Slack for team communication, Google Drive for documents.
Location:
- Can work remotely or on site.
Equipment Required:
- Own computer, smartphone and internet connection.
Skills
Experience of fundraising and grant applications and expereince in applying to trusts and foundations for support and funding.
Experience with social media platforms, Slack for communication with the team and Google drive for documents.
