Emergency department (ED) support volunteers play a vital role in assisting staff and providing non-medical support to patients and their families in a busy ED environment. Volunteers help create a welcoming and organised environment, supporting staff to deliver efficient care while ensuring patients and visitors feel informed and comfortable.
