Corporate Sponsorship / Fundraising Lead

We are looking for someone to help us develop a completely new area of fundraising and corporate support for #Team6th.

This is a new role, so there is no existing programme that you will simply be expected to inherit. Instead, you will have the opportunity to help create our approach from the ground up.

The role could include identifying local and national businesses that may be interested in supporting the Group, developing sponsorship opportunities, approaching potential partners, building relationships with businesses and exploring grants, donations, matched funding and other fundraising opportunities.

You will work alongside the Group leadership and Trustee team to identify projects and activities where external support could make a real difference.

This role is particularly suited to somebody who enjoys building relationships, developing new ideas and creating something from scratch. Much of the work can be undertaken remotely and flexibly.

Skills

Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, marketing, account management or corporate partnerships would be useful, but it is not essential.

We are looking for somebody who is confident communicating with people, comfortable making initial approaches to organisations and able to build positive professional relationships.

Good written communication, organisation and initiative will be particularly valuable.

You should be comfortable working independently, developing ideas and helping establish processes where none currently exist.

Most importantly, we are looking for somebody enthusiastic about using their skills and contacts to help create more opportunities for young people.
