Become a Lunch Helper at Knightwood Care Home

Why not spend your lunch time with our fun loving group of older people at Knightwood Care Home.

Who are you?

Brendoncare are looking for a happy, enthusiastic individual, aged 18+ to help us deliver a fantastic service to our lunch time residents in the restaurant at Knightwood. Ideally, you will be a team player, looking to play an active part in ensuring everyone enjoys their lunch.

What is required?

We ask for help in

• Hosting residents in our restaurant over the lunch period 11-1pm any day (Mon - Fri) flexible.
• Serving them meals and refreshments with assistance from the chef.
• Ensuring the restaurant is safe and welcoming for our residents and may include setting up the tables appropriately.
• Helping any residents get comfortable with limited mobility, and generally engaging and enjoying being in their company. 
• No experience of food preparation/hygiene necessary as training will be given. 

We ask for two satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the community and experience the positive impact your volunteering can have to help improve the lives of older people.
