Become a club volunteer for Singing for the Brain at Knightwood 11-12 fortnightly (Friday)

Why not spend your time with our fun loving group of older people at Knightwood 

Who are you?

Brendoncare are looking for a happy, enthusiastic individual, aged 16+ to help us deliver a fantastic service to our community members who come to Singing for the Brain at the Knightwood Hub . Ideally, you will be happy to lead in the singing to encourage everyone to sing along to the music, and enjoy being part of a team of volunteers.

What is required?

We ask for help in

• setting up the music on the screen to play you tube play list
• Handing out music sheets as and when needed
• Taking a register
• Ensuring the safety of everyone (training will be provided)
• Helping any residents get comfortable with limited mobility, and generally engaging and enjoying being in their company. 
• No experience needed, just a wilingness to participate and help

We ask for two satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the community and experience the positive impact your volunteering can have to help improve the lives of older people.
