Brendoncare aims to improve the quality of life for older people, and our growing local network of social/activity Clubs are vital to combating loneliness and social isolation. They enable our members to develop relationship networks and each Club aims to respond to the interests, needs, aspirations and choices of each individual.
Brendoncare Clubs are looking for happy, enthusiastic individuals, aged 16+ to help us deliver a fantastic service to the members of our clubs. Ideally, you will be a team player, happy to get involved in any aspect of the meetings whether that’s meeting and greeting, taking subscriptions, providing refreshments to the members or encouraging engagement in the session’s activity. You may also feel you have the capacity to take on more of a ‘lead’ role as club organiser.
Skills
You should enjoy meeting new people and engaging them in activities. You will need to be able to get on well with older people and empathise with others. Good organisational skills are also important. You may also have a specific skill or interest you would like to share with our members; we’re always on the look out for new activities.
