The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) are delighted to be undertaking conservation work in partnership with National Grid at two woodland sites in Nursling ,Hampshire (Tuesday) and Mannington, Dorset (Wednesday)
The plan is to create a more open habitat with increased native vegetation, while also improving biodiversity for the flora and fauna that grow and live within the woodlands. We will meet at each site once a week, with tasks and timings varying depending on the season. Attendance can be flexible, depending on your availability and level of commitment, so you’re welcome to join as often as you’re able.
TCV’s mission is to connect communities with green spaces, improving both environmental sustainability and community well-being. Our initiatives focus on volunteering opportunities, community engagement, and environmental education. I believe this site presents a valuable opportunity to develop a meaningful project that benefits both people and nature.
Please register your interest today and we will be in touch to arrange a convenient time to have an informal chat.
