Social Media Management Volunteer (Office or Remote)

Hammersley Homes are committed to providing support for life, for adults who live with enduring mental health challenges, and struggle to live independently. We have a number of dedicated supporters, but we need help getting seen and heard in the noisy world of social media and that’s why we need your help.

We are looking for a social media volunteer who can help us breakthrough the noise and engage with those who will be interested in what we do and say. Can you help?

We provide full support and training, and regularly provide links to and suggestions of things to post on our Social Media platforms – but we would love to find someone who can create independent and relevant posts for us as well.

What we require:

• 1-2 hours commitment per day
• Create engaging social media content across all our social channels.
• Monitor the analytics of our social media to identify what works.
• Follow relevant influencers, groups etc and comment/signpost to Hammersley Homes where and when it is relevant.
• Working with our PR volunteer team to create weekly and monthly content calendars.
• Work with our PR volunteer team, to let people know about media activity and coverage. 

Skills

Skill and Experience:

• Working knowledge across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Motivated, with the ability to work within a team, without much supervision.
• Experience of using Canva, or similar, to create content.
• Experience and knowledge of working with Hootsuite
• Computer literacy
