Volunteer Event Organiser

The Volunteer Event Organiser will play an important part in raising vital funds and creating awareness of Hammersley Homes by organising event in your local community. The role involves varied and interesting aspects of fundraising in both large and small events. 

Some of our previous fundraising events have included; outdoor music and theatre events, gala dinners, auctions, exhibitions and the New Forest Show. This year we have some exciting events for to get involved with including Auctions and Dinners, Sporting and Wellbeing Events – and many more! We would love you help to grow our calendar of events and raise awareness of Hammersley Homes.

To assist in the organisation and coordination of fundraising events by:

• Working proactively with local businesses and organisations to research and identify areas of potential event fundraising.
• Liaising with key contacts regarding the event, both internally and externally, throughout the whole process.  
• Ensuring relevant policy and procedures are being followed in relation to insurance and health and safety requirements.
• Acting as key contact on the day.
