About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated volunteer to manage product listings and fulfil orders through the Hammersley Homes eBay shop, helping us to turn donated items into valuable income. The role requires you to be in short proximity to Lymington Town.
Key responsibilities
- Research donated items and estimate their potential value.
- Take clear, attractive digital photographs of items.
- Create and upload eBay listings in line with our standard procedures.
- Write detailed, accurate and engaging product descriptions.
- Select appropriate postage and delivery options.
- Monitor sales and prepare sold items for dispatch.
- Pack items carefully and securely.
- Take parcels to the appropriate courier collection point or post office.
Skills
Skills and qualities:
• Has experience of buying & selling on eBay
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Has strong online research skills.
• Can write clear and accurate descriptions.
• Can photograph and present items attractively.
• Packs items carefully and securely.
• Is reliable, organised and able to work independently.
