Volunteers Needed for the Hythe Christmas Tree Festival!
The Hythe Christmas Tree Festival returns to St John’s Church, New Road, Hythe, from 21st November to 5th December, and Hythe 2000 Charitable Trust is looking for volunteers to help make this year’s Festival a success.
Each year, St John’s is transformed into a wonderful forest of Christmas trees, decorated by local residents, families, schools, businesses, groups and organisations. The Festival brings the community together while raising much-needed funds for Hythe 2000 Charitable Trust and St John’s Church.
We are looking for friendly volunteers who could spare a few hours to help during the Festival. There are lots of ways to get involved, including welcoming visitors, serving refreshments, helping with competitions and the silent auction, keeping an eye on the displays, and generally helping things run smoothly.
You don’t need any previous experience – just a willingness to help and be part of this special community event. Whether you can offer one session or several, we would love to hear from you.
The Festival includes an all-age scavenger hunt, festive competitions, refreshments, a Remembrance Tree and a Silent Auction where visitors can bid for decorated trees and wreaths.
If you have a few hours to spare between 21st November and 5th December, why not join our team and help us bring a little Christmas magic to Hythe?
