Veterans Dementia Support Volunteer

Veterans Dementia Support UK is a community based organisation supporting Veterans living with Dementia and their families. We are seeking volunteers to support Veterans in the community through conversation, interaction and attending local support groups for Veterans living with dementia/Alzheimer's/memory loss and their families.

Our volunteers will have the chance to become a Dementia Friend through a short training session and learn more about dementia and how it affects others.

Veterans who have Dementia/Alzhiemers have many different needs than others with Dementia from struggles faced as the result of active service and we will help volunteers to understand these issues.
