Trustees

New Milton Memorial Centre has served the people of New Milton since 1920; it was rebuilt after a fire in 1981, and we are currently refurbishing and recently re-branded as the New Milton Hub to reflect the changing needs of the community.

We have ambitious plans and need Trustees to join our board who will help develop and increase the use of our centre.

Skills

We are looking for Trustees with a wide range of experience and in particular to strengthen our team in the following areas:

• Events promotion and customer care
• Fundraising for small charities

Applicants will need to have:

• the ability to work as a team with other Trustees;
• understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Trustee. This can also be learned from the current Trustees;
• and the willingness to attend meetings and communicate electronically.

The level of time commitment is subject to your availability but as a minimum Trustees meet once a month in New Milton in the evening and also carry out ad hoc roles one or twice during the month.
