Our Volunteer would assist with various therapeutic activities i.e. word games, craft, exercise to music and the leading of small groups with board games, crosswords etc.
To provide a listening ear and chat with clients especially those who are new to the centre.
Help with refreshments.
Training and support sessions will be organised from time to time as well as staff meetings.
Our Volunteers are a valuable asset to our daily running of the centre, helping in every way to make an enjoyable day for our elderly guests also giving important respite for their carers.
