The Fordingbridge Museum Trust is seeking someone to help us fundraise and write grant proposals. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in this area. The museum is in the centre of Fordingbridge, but this would be mainly working from home with occasional in-person meetings and telephone calls. Although meetings will need to take place at times that suit both parties, this role can be carried out whenever works best for you.
We are a small but vibrant museum that is entirely run by volunteers. We are based in an old mill building and have two floors of exhibits mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Trust is registered as a charity, volunteer run, with no paid staff. We currently receive no core funding and must apply for funding to continue and expand the work of the museum.
