We are looking for someone to help us fundraise and write grant proposals for both our large summer project, Fareham FACT (festival of the arts for children and teenagers), and future projects, plus general fundraising. Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in this area, a love for the arts and who can start immediately. We are currently located in Fareham Shopping centre but this would be mainly working from home with occasional in-person meetings, telephone calls and skype/zoom/teams video calls, these will be determined by what works best for you. Although meetings will need to take place at times that suit both parties, this role can be carried out whenever works best for you.
We are a small organisation with most of our work being carried out as volunteers. We currently receive no core funding which means we have to apply for funding individually for projects or operate them as volunteers. We run most things for free but where there is a cost this is only to cover materials. In the future we hope to reach a point of being a core funded NPO organisation.
We are primarily an art organisation but work across the arts, partnering with others in theatre, dance, film, music, and literature to improve access to and participation in the arts for children. families and young people.
