We are seeking friendly, cheerful and efficient volunteers to join our busy Tea Rooms set in the beautiful grounds of Furzey Gardens. Working alongside staff and other volunteers, you will enjoy the hustle and bustle of a vibrant café and delight in delivering excellent customer service.
Main duties will include: serving light refreshments, clearing tables, washing up and taking money at the till.
The tea rooms are open daily from 10am-4pm, and we would especially welcome help on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months of June, July and August. Hours can be flexible to fit in with you, although typically we would ask for a minimum commitment of 2-3 hours per session.
For more information or an informal chat, please register your interest today.
Skills
Some previous experience of working in a catering environment would be beneficial, though not essential, as all necessary training will be given to ensure your volunteering experience is always a positive one!
