1st Stubbington Squirrel Scouts Volunteer

In the Squirrels Team, you’ll be making our 4 to 6 year olds’ eyes light up with wonder on a regular basis. If you're interested in working in an Early Years setting, this is where you want to be. You’ll work as part of a team to pass on skills for life to our youngest section, while making sure the environment’s safe and keeping everything behind the scenes ticking over.

As a Squirrels Team Member, you might:

• Read a story to the Squirrels  
• Build a den in the woods 
• Help a small group of Squirrels with an activity 
• Update badge records online  
• Work as a team to build a great programme of activities

Never been a Scout before? Neither have the Squirrels! Just come along ready for fun; it’s never too late to get involved! 

1st Stubbington Squirrels meet on Wednesdays in term time from 16:45 - 17:45.

Skills

No previous Scouting experience is needed, just an ability to communicate with young people and adult volunteers and enthusiasm to get stuck in!

Training and support will be provided.
