The role of an AV/Support Volunteer is:

  • To offer emotional support and provide information to People living with and affected by Motor Neurone Disease.
  • To be their point of contact with the Association and all we provide.
  • To check in with them as frequently as they need to ensure they are getting all the support they need.
  • Attend local support groups monthly as part of a team when possible
  • To highlight to your Community support coordinator any areas of concern.
