Hampshire Market Garden is a not-for-profit social enterprise that is working to show the world that healthy soil can protect our future. From food security to climate resilience, we will demonstrate that caring for what lies beneath our feet is the key to a sustainable future.
We grow organic veg on a beautiful two acre site in the South Downs National Park with a focus on soil health, educating communities on how important it is, and collaborating with farmers, organisations, and policymakers to drive change and promote sustainable land stewardship.
We are offering some exciting new volunteering opportunities to people who want to come and be part of the new food revolution! Want to reconnect people with where their food is grown, and that is why we offer volunteering opportunities. To us our staff and volunteers are at the heart of our market garden and we couldn’t operate without you. Our volunteer days can give you regular time outside in nature, improve physical and mental wellbeing, provide a day with other like-minded people and help you learn new skills. Upon signing up to volunteer we will see what you would like to get out of attending our sessions, and help you achieve that.
Community Volunteer Day is every Wednesday 9am – 3pm!
