Care home residents are potentially some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Research shows that they are twice as likely to be lonely as older people living in the community.
Embracing Age is a Christian charity working towards a world where older people are valued, connected, and full of hope. We are seeking volunteers to befriend care home residents across the UK. Volunteers spend time visiting the residents, chatting, and doing activities that they enjoy and that help to build friendship.
