Butterflies Bereavement Support is a small charity based in Eastleigh covering Hampshire & the Isle of Wight. It relies on the goodwill of its volunteers to deliver support services to adult members of the community struggling with grief, bereavement and loss irrespective of when that occurred.
The trustees are looking to increase not only the number of trustees involved in the overseeing management of the charity but also widen the skills representation.
We are currently seeking people with any of the following skill sets who also have an active sense of community but only have limited time to commit. Trustee meetings are every two months, lasting no longer than two and and a half hours. We are a Community Involvement Organisation, underlining the fact there is no personal financial responsibility involved in being a trustee with our charity.
As an organisation we have over 80 volunteers, and one part time paid administrator, providing counselling, friendship telephone contact and bereavement groups.
For further information please enquire today.
If you would like to have an informal, confidential chat with one of our Trustees, submit your enquiry and one of our team will be in touch.
