Volunteer Supervisor (Bereavement)

Are you a trained counsellor with membership of BACP or UKCP and at least three years post qualification experience, including bereavement counselling?

If so, Winchester Bereavement Support would love to hear from you. We are looking for a new Supervisor, local to Winchester, to join our team to provide monthly supervision for a small group of voluntary bereavement visitors who offer support either face-to-face or a mixture of face-to-face and remote working depending on the client’s requirements. You would be fully supported by other Volunteer Supervisors and by monthly meetings with a Professional Adviser.

As a volunteer role, reasonable expenses are reimbursed. We would require a commitment of approximately three hours p.c.m., for a minimum period of 24 months.  We would be particularly interested to hear from supervisors in training. For those embarking on Supervisory training we would consider helping with course fees up to a maximum of 50%, subject to a three-year commitment.

Skills
