Support Group Facilitator - Bordon

The role of a PeerTalk Support Group Facilitator is unique. They don't counsel, try to fix or offer advice; they allow the group of attendees to provide support for one another so that by connection they're able to work through their own challenges. You'll be provided with full training to understand how your ability to empathetically listen is so powerful.

Your duties include setting up the meeting space with your co-facilitator (we work in pairs), meeting and greeting new and existing attendees, starting and finishing meetings on time, facilitating the meeting in line with your training, debrief with the co-facilitator, complete the attendance statistics and leave the meeting space as you found it.

Your availability for this role will be Tuesday evenings, the meetings are 7-8:30pm, and whilst you won't be required every Tuesday there is a requirement that you have flexibility to be available at least 4 evenings a quarter to allow the group to run smoothly for those attending.
