Social Media Executive

Lymphoma UK are looking to recruit a voluntary Social Media Executive to work closely with the Board of Trustees to create, execute and monitor social media campaigns and assisting with all aspects of marketing, brand, advertising, public relations and publicity.

Experience preferable but not necessary. Lymphoma UK would ask that you spend between 2 to 4 hours a week volunteering. This role is completely remote and you will need to provide your own devices (computer &/or smart device) for the role. 

Skills

• Develop, create and schedule new and vibrant content for all social channels to ensure Lymphoma UK has a continuous, engaging high quality presence on social media.
• To continually increase engagement level on all Lymphoma UK social channels to raise awareness of our cause and to ultimately drive donations.
• Monitoring of all Lymphoma UK and competitor content and responding to comments and direct messages received via these channels.
• Occasional composition of press releases for local interest stories and distribute to the local media – after approval from the CEO and Chair of The Board of Trustees.
• In conjunction with the Trustees administer and nurture sponsorship agreements and actively drive fund raising for the charity.
