Can you spare three hours a week (or more!) to help in our community shop?
To open more regularly we desperately need volunteers to help in the shop. You can find out more about our organisation and the projects we run by registering your interest. If you are passionate about supporting the community and preventing food waste this is the role for you.
New Forest Aquaponics runs several projects, including the Blackfield Store, a membership based shopping offer open to everyone in our community. Fruit, vegetables and bread are always free of charge. Members are able to shop once a week for a basket of 21 food and household items at a charge of £7.50. The basket value of this shop would be around £21.

We will provide you with training to help you thrive in your role. Come and meet some lovely people and be a part of a fantastic community movement to reduce supermarket waste and provide dignified access to food at affordable prices.
We currently open on a Monday and Friday from 1pm to 4pm. We are also open on a Wednesday evening from 4pm to 8pm. You do not have to work all of these days, and we can split shifts so that you work 2 hours rather than 4 hours if this helps.
Skills

- Sign up new members and take payment membership payments.
