Volunteer Team Member

Scouting is the largest co-educational youth movement in the world with an estimated membership in the region of 60 million. As an adult volunteer in Scouting you will be part of a team supporting young people to build confidence, have fun and adventure, and gain skills for life. No previous experience is needed, there will be a role for you that embraces your personal skills as well as giving you the opportunity to develop your youth work skills. Roles vary from active youth facing support to back room administration, all important to a successful team approach. We work with ages 4-24 years so can provide a wide range of opportunities.

Skills

You will be a caring adult of at least 18 years of age motivated to help young people. The most important attribute is the ability to give time. Your life experiences and skills can be harnessed to benefit young people.
