Cub Leader/Helpers - 1st Medstead Scouts Group

Step into the world of Cubs and help our energetic 8 to 10½ year olds on their journey to gaining skills for life. Joining our Cubs Team means you'll help run our Cub Pack; we promise you’ll feel energised, excited, and enthusiastic! As a Cubs Team Member, you might:

• Plan a super sports night
• Take the Cubs to a museum
• Build a spaghetti bridge 
• Award the Cubs some badges 
• Work as a team to build a great programme of activities 

One week you might be whipping up tasty treats in a baking bonanza. The next? Diving into global issues or teaching them how to navigate with confidence (even if you have to learn it first!). 

At Cubs, every session is a chance to explore hobbies, uncover hidden talents, and build resilience; all while having fun! 

The best bit? You don't need to have done it before, just come along, enjoy it and try something new. 

1st Medstead Cubs meet on Monday evenings from 6.30-8pm in term time.

Skills

• You will be a good communicator and have the ability to work with a team of volunteers
• We provide training and support it would be great if you have been in Scouting before but it isn't needed to carry out this role
