Squirrel Scout Volunteers - 1st Romsey

In the Squirrels Team, you’ll be making our 4 to 6 year olds’ eyes light up with wonder on a regular basis. If you're interested in working in an Early Years setting, this is where you want to be. You’ll work as part of a team to pass on skills for life to our youngest section, while making sure the environment’s safe and keeping everything behind the scenes ticking over.

As a Squirrels Team Member, you might:

• Read a story to the Squirrels  
• Build a den in the woods 
• Help a small group of Squirrels with an activity 
• Update badge records online  
• Work as a team to build a great programme of activities

Never been a Scout before? Neither have the Squirrels! Just come along ready for fun; it’s never too late to get involved! 

1st Romsey Squirrels meet on Tuesdays 5-6pm and are based in Romsey town centre.

Skills

No previous Scouting experience is needed just an ability to communicate with young people and adult volunteers.

Training and support will be provided.
