Community First Responders are local volunteers, trained and dispatched by the Ambulance Service to attend 999 medical emergency calls where a life may be at risk and provide basic life support care until the arrival of the Ambulance Service response. We ask our volunteers to make themselves available to be on call for a minimum of 20 hours per month, at times that suit you, and until the call comes you carry on with your daily routine.
Please Note. Volunteers must live in or within in a few minutes drive of Bransgore, Sopley or Burley village centres and be within Hampshire. Sadly we can't accept applications from further afield but note that ambulance services who operate community first responder schemes may have vacancies closer to your home.

Training is provided.
