Age Concern Gosport (ACG) is an independent local charity, delivered by friendly, trained volunteers. It provides a broad range of support services to help residents aged 55+, their families and carers. Its aims are to offer a free form filling service to enable people from Gosport and the surrounding areas, including Fareham, Locks Heath and Portchester to access Welfare Benefit Entitlements, Blue Badges, Bus passes… It also provides information on local community services, including domestic help, gardening and repairs, care at home and support groups within the local community - to encourage and empower many older people struggling with barriers including disabilities and social isolation, thus enabling to live more independently and healthily, in their own homes, for longer.
