Website and Social Media volunteer

Hordle Volunteer Driver Group is a small community group providing drivers to take clients from Tiptoe, Hordle and Everton to their medical appointments when they are unable to drive or use public transport.

We are looking for a person that can maintain our current website and give us a social media presence to primarily attract new volunteers.

The time required would be at the volunteers discretion and there are no set days to undertake this role.

Skills

Clear writing: Draft engaging captions, blog posts, and press releases.

Verbal confidence: Speak clearly in interviews or when representing the group.

Active listening: Understand the groups core message and audience

Social media know-how: Navigate platforms like Meta, X, and LinkedIn using best practices.

Basic design: Create simple graphics

Empathy: Handle sensitive or lived-experience stories with care.

Teamwork: Work with other volunteers.in the group
