The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) are delighted to be undertaking conservation work in partnership with Portsmouth Historic Quarter on a site at Priddy's Hard in Gosport and we are excited by the site's potential.
The plan is to create a more open habitat with scattered trees and native vegetation where appropriate whilst also allowing for better access by the public by revealing and better protecting pathways and historic buildings. We will be meeting once a month depending seasonal tasks and timings.
TCV’s mission is to connect communities with green spaces, improving both environmental sustainability and community well-being. Our initiatives focus on volunteering opportunities, community engagement, and environmental education. I believe this site presents a valuable opportunity to develop a meaningful project that benefits both people and nature.
Please register your interest today and we will be in touch to arrange a convenient time to have an informal chat.
