2wish is actively seeking volunteers to support their mission of helping those affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young adult aged 25 years and under. There are a variety of ways you can get involved, and they welcome people from all backgrounds and levels of experience.
Roles available:
General Volunteer:
- Handling general administrative duties to assist the Regional Fundraisers.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider 2wish team.
- Occasional meet and greet duties.
- Ongoing administration support for 2wish during fundraising campaigns.
- Putting important literature together and ensuring stocks are well supplied.
Events and Fundraising Volunteer:
- Attending supermarkets/theatres/sports grounds to conduct bucket collections.
- Stewarding members of the public at a variety of events e.g. Elephant walks and dips, walking, cycling, and running events.
- Manning a pop-up shop or awareness stand in various markets, shopping centres, festivals.
- Dressing as the 2wish mascot, a 7ft grey elephant.
- Talking to members of the public and giving information about 2wish
- Taking photos and posting to social media.
- Assisting the Regional Fundraiser where required.
