The Handy Trust are a small charity that provides somewhere to go and something to do for young people on the Waterside, through Youth Clubs and Holiday Clubs. The Trust also provides confidential advice if and when young people ask. We provide one-to-one targeted support sessions.
The volunteer role is to help set up, run, entertain and clear away Youth Clubs in Hythe and Marchwood.
The children who attend the youth clubs enjoy a variety of activities, such as baking, cooking, cycle maintenance, arts and crafts, games, etc.
Skills
The most important thing would be patience with youngsters.
