Voluntary Car Driver

Have you ever thought about being part of a team making a real difference in your community in the Western Wards of Fareham?  

Our local charity, Locks Heath CommuniCare Association delivers volunteer led services for the benefit of senior citizens in Locks Heath, Park Gate, Sarisbury Green, Swanwick, Titchfield Common, Warsash and Whiteley, We provide lunch clubs in Warsash and Sarisbury Green, medical transport and mini-bus transport to local shopping areas for our 200 elderly clients.

As a Communicare driving volunteer you get to choose the amount of time you give and what you want to do. You will be driving elderly clients to a range of medical appointments to local hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists.   Please note, you will need to use your own car.

Expenses are covered and Enhanced DBS checks are required for driving and shopping roles.
