Trustee Member - Gosport Scouts Brockhurst

4th Gosport are looking for a Trustee to join their Trustee Team.

This is a great volunteering opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in Scouting but can only commit to a few meetings each year.

The role will include:

• Formulating and regularly reviewing the strategic aims of the group
• Alongside the other Trustees you will make sure that the groups policies and practices are in keeping with the aims of the Scouts
• With other Trustees you will make sure that the group is functioning well and within legal and financial requirements and strive to achieve best practice

The Trustee team meets together approximately 4 times a year in addition to an Annual General Meeting (AGM)

You will be a good communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships. In addition to a personal alignment to Nolan’s seven principles of public life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.

Training will be given and a DBS application will be made.
