Every month, two groups of older people meet at the Horrill Centre for a home cooked three course Sunday lunch. If needed, clients collected from their homes in the minibus we hire and after enjoying a meal in friendly surroundings, they are taken home again.
We are looking for minibus drivers, minibus escorts and hostesses who can help look after the clients and help wait on tables.
All Volunteers are offered a free lunch too!
We are looking for a cook to join our amazing team. If you can spare a Sunday a month (or even less regularly) to cook a 3 course meal then please get in touch.
Skills
Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate preferred for our cook position although we are happy to provide level 2 food hygiene training.
All of our Lunch club volunteers will require a DBS check which will be undertaken by Age Concern New Forest.
