Trustee

Ringwood Foodbank is looking for a volunteers to join the board of trustees,  We serve the communities of Ringwood, Fordingbridge and Verwood, providing a lifeline for individuals and families experiencing crisis and food poverty. More than just providing emergency food parcels, we offer dignity, hope, and practical support for people in need. Our charity is affiliated to Trussell and works closely with local partners and volunteers to ensure no one goes hungry.

The role will  involve working across the Foodbank operations.

Skills

We welcome applications from people who can bring some or all of the following skills:

• Experience liaising with local community charities, agencies, or support organisations
• Drive and commitment to support vulnerable people
• Confidence using IT and digital tools
• A working knowledge of policies and good governance
• A collaborative, team-focused approach
• Compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
• Ability to drive (to attend local face to face trustees meetings )
