Repair Cafe Coordinators

Our monthly Repair Café brings together people who can fix things with others who want to avoid throwing broken items away, and we’re looking for a small team of coordinators to help keep it running smoothly.

You’ll help with communication between volunteers and partners, support the organisation behind the scenes, and make sure we have plenty of repairers available each month. This isn’t a role for one person, we would love to build a team of 2–3 coordinators who can share the responsibility and support each other.

What’s involved?

• Working with local partners and PeCAN staff
  
• Coordinating and communicating with volunteers, including repairers
  
• Helping with simple administration and data collection
  
• Supporting promotion of the Repair Café, including social media posts
  
• Helping to lead the Repair Café once a month, ensuring it runs smoothly
  
• Keeping PeCAN updated on any needs or requirements for future sessions

You don’t need to be a repair expert, just organised, friendly, and keen to help make things last.
